What a beautiful paradise down here in the valley!  You have created a little sanctuary for yourselves and everybody else here.  Moments of tranquilo and happiness as I am walking on ancient pathways, feeling the olives and the running clean water of your river. (Cecilia, Stockholm)

B&B Accommodation in Andalucia

Riverside Eco-farm in the Grazalema Natural Park

We have had lots of adventures at Cinco Lunas: River crossing, rock climbing, ostriches, searching for wild asparagus...  Gonzalo cooked a brilliant paella(Jackie,9 and Peter, 11, Yorkshire)

Cinco Lunas has been like a second home for two lovely weeks. Thanks for sharing some of the Spanish things of life with us: we´ve learned to live the Andalusian way!  (Rody and Richard, Kerk-Avezaath)

We offer more than a  standard B&B. Cinco Lunas is your second home.

Please enjoy the house and the farm. Feel at home!!!  Be yourself!!!

An oasis to lose yourself in! A Paradise to find yourself in!!

Cinco Lunas has 6 acres of land. It sits at 1640ft. in a fertile valley, with magnificent mountain views. Through the middle of the finca runs the Bocaleones river, which rises just 4 miles upstream. You can enjoy the sparkling clean river only 20 yards away from the house. In the crystal clear water you may see a variety of water plants, small fishes and if you are lucky you may even see an otter (watch video). During the heat of the summer Cinco Lunas remains cool and refreshing because of the river and the sound of the water features.

The farm is divided by the river into two plots of land: the Terraced Patios and the Organic Vegetable Garden.

Our well-maintained Terraced Patio areas are between the house and the riverbank, both sunny and shaded terraces. The house is surrounded by aromatic herbs, flowers and shrubs, olive, quince, fig, orange palm and white mulberry trees. The garden and lawned area pay tribute to the imagination and artistry of the owners. Little water falls, inlaid mosaics, tiny waterways... and always the sound of water.

We have an Organic Vegetable Garden, watered by our own irrigation channel (acequias) a system dating back to Moorish times. One acre of cultivated land provides us with all the usual vegetables plus a variety of fruit trees.

The HOUSE is a typical Andalusian style farmhouse more than 100 years old. It has been restored    sensitively, while preserving its original features. It provides comfortable accommodation without the loss of its rustic charm: we have preserved the beams, cobbles, wood, tiles, ceramics, terracota roof tiles and other details to retain a simple southern décor. With its beam-and-cane ceiling, thick white stone walls and flagged floor, the house gives you a feeling of having stepped back in time.

With only 3 BEDROOMS, it is a place where you can expect a warm and personal welcome. Rooms have all heaters, shuttered windows and are fully equipped with chairs, bedside tables and built-in wardrobes. Our comfortable beds are double (king size 150X200) and single (standard size)

۞  Room 1: Double room (double bed) with en suite facilities.

۞  Room 2: Double room (double bed) (plus optional single bed or cot as requested.)

(this room can be booked with own  bathroom or sharing bathroom with Room 3)

۞  Room 3: Twin bedded room (2 single beds), sharing bathroom (with room 2).

Our KITCHEN can always be used, as and when you wish, to cook your own food. Everything in the kitchen is at your disposal: four-ring gas cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and all the usual appliances.

The SITTING ROOM has a dining table with locally crafted chairs and sofa. There is also a CD player and a good selection of CDs, games, board games, books, tourist guides, walking route leaflets and city and walking maps, all at your disposal.

For BREAKFAST you simply help yourself at any time to whatever you want. We provide you with milk, coffee, different teas, toast, cereals, fruits, cheese, butter, olive oil, homemade jams and marmalades. We also provide seasonal tomatoes and free-range eggs as available.

Optional DINNERS are served with your hosts and other guests who wish to join us. You can choose from a variety of different Spanish menus available at the farm. We make every attempt to use seasonal, home-grown organic vegetables and local organic produce in our cooking. All dinners include bread, wine, dessert and coffee/tea.
